This is a nice example of the Meridian Reference 808v6 Preamplifier controller. Finished in Graphite Grey it comes with full original packaging having had one owner from new.
The unit was originally an 808v3 which was upgraded to the latest v6 specification as soon as that modification was released.
The 808V6 has 6 analogue inputs, 6 gigital inputs. It is both Meridian Speakerlink and Meridian Comms capable for use with Meridian DSP loudspeakers. There are two sets of analogue outputs, XLR and RCA for use with passive amplifiers with the 808 allowing set up for fixed or variable output.
Note: The 808V6 has a CD mechanism but this is not functioning correctly which is why we are selling this as Preamplifier controller. All of the Preamplification / DAC perameters are working as they should. The unit is priced to reflect this. It comes with it's MSR remote control. Should a replacement Mechanism be aquired then this is easily swapped over.
This unit was partnering the Meridian DSP8000 which we have listed. This is the ideal unit to partner those and can be purchased along side the speakers.
