Remembering Thelonious Monk today

Thelonious Monk died on the 17th of February 1982. Round Midnight, Straight, No Chaser... he was an incredible pianist and composer. He was also known for leaving his piano whilst bandmates played to dance around the stage. Browse our Monk records here.
