Technics SL-1210 Mk II Service
Loud & Clear can service your beloved Technics SL-1210 Mk II turntable and get it back to tip-top condition.
Our service includes initial testing which consists of:
- Speed check
- Vertical Tracking Angle (VTA) check
- Anti-skate check
- Tonearm bearings check
- Audio check
We will then disassemble the deck and:
- Clean, relubricate and calibrate the VTA mechanism
- Calibrate the anti-skate
- Chemically deoxidise the fine speed control
- Relubricate other contact surfaces
- Service the tonearm lift-lower mechanism
- Oil main bearing
- Calibrate turntable speed
- Reflow any suspect solder joints
We will then reassemble the deck and setup the tonearm & cartridge, which includes correctly setting:
- VTA

- cartridge tracking force
- cartridge alignment
- cartridge azimuth
- lift-lower height
- anti-skate force
Your deck will then undergo a comprehensive play test and external clean, and will be made ready to reinstall in your home or business.
We also offer the following optional extras as part of your service:

Tonearm rewire
- External - with low-capacitance, shielded phono cable + Neutrik connectors = £50.00
- Internal - with Litz Silver wiring = £100.00
- New cartridge fitting - FOC

- Sandblasting & respray of faceplate with any RAL colour - £120.00 - please advise of chosen RAL colour code when ordering
