What are you listening to this week?

Posted by Agathe Girard on

As I'm writing this, I'm streaming Frankie Goes to Hollywood's Welcome to the Pleasuredome, one of our shop manager Iain's favourite albums.

This music choice for me today was prompted by an article Iain brought to my attention... find out more about the 5 Most Important Synths of Welcome to the Pleasuredome.

We have it on vinyl - click here to buy it if it's not yet in your music library.

  • Listening today to Joy Division’s Closer (40th Anniversary; 2020 Digital Master).
    Still sounds amazing.

    Did you know:

“Tony Wilson’s coffin was given the Factory catalogue number FAC 501 for his funeral, a characteristic touch that honoured his work with the Factory Records empire. FAC 501 was the last ever catalogue number used by Factory Records.”

    (check out the album cover)
